Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Released

Today, Microsoft has released Windows Vista SP1 to the public and Windows Vista SP1 is available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. For other language, you need to give some time to Microsoft to work on it and make it available.

 

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is an update to Windows Vista that addresses feedback from our customers. In addition to previously released updates, SP1 contains changes focused on addressing specific reliability and performance issues, supporting new types of hardware, and adding support for several emerging standards. Windows Vista SP1 also addresses some management, deployment, and support challenges.

You can installed Windows Vista Service Pack 1 using windows update or you can download standalone installer if you want to update more than one computer.

I recommend you to backup your documents and other data before you upgrading your system. One more thing, this standalone installer can be installed on systems with any of the following language versions: English (US), French, German, Japanese, or Spanish (Traditional).
